Kris Kelderman

Known by many as "K-Dog",
Kris played for Bruce Arena at the University of Virginia from
1987-90,
where he became one of the top-ten all-time leading scorers for the
Cavaliers. A member of the 1989 NCAA Champions, Kris was an All-ACC
Selection in 1988-89. He represented the United States at the 1985
Youth World Cup in China and played on the 1991 World University
team
in South Korea. After seven years in MISL and A-League, he went on
to play in Major League Soccer, winning two MLS Championships
with
D.C. United in 1996 and 1997. Kris capped off his career with Miami
Fusion in 1998 and New England Revolution in 1999. Kris
is married to Ellen Hill, who also played soccer at U Va. They
have two children.
The former Director of Coaching for the Wauwatosa, WI Youth Soccer
Club has directed youth camps and coached U5 to high school players
in Virginia, Massachusetts and Wisconsin since 1992. He serves
as Technical Director for Vienna Youth Soccer, head coach for D.C.
United's U15 Y-League team, and Assistant Coach at George Mason University
in Fairfax, Va.
Kris holds the USSF National "B"
and Youth Licenses. |
