Scott holds a
USSF "C" coaching license. He spent a year as an assistant at
Norwich University in Northfield, VT, in 1997. He also served as a club
trainer in 1999-2000 with the Paradise Valley Soccer Club in Phoenix, AZ,
where the club specialized in the Coerver style of coaching.
Scott is a 1996 graduate of Alfred (NY) University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a four-year starter as a midfielder for the Saxons, leaving Alfred as the career leader with 23 assists. He added 23 goals to rank second all-time with 69 points. He was named a NCAA Division III regional All-American as a sophomore in 1993 and again as a senior in 1995, and he was an All-Empire Athletic Association selection in 1993 and 1994. After graduation, Scott played professionally with the Rochester Rhinos of the A League and with the Vermont Voltage and Arizona Sahuaros in the USISL D3 division. A native of Rochester, NY, Scott is a 1992 graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High School in New York. |
