Marcelo Valencia

Marcelo is a George Washington University graduate (’95), holds a masters degree in education (’00) from George Mason University and has been coaching young players up to the high school level since ‘99. Marcelo holds USSF National “B” and National Youth Licenses. Marcelo played for five Years as a professional player ('95 - '00) with the Baltimore Blast (NPSL/MISL), Philadelphia Kixx (NPSL/MISL), Washington Warthogs (CISL), and Hershey Wildcats (A-League). At George Washington University, he was a four-year starter, four-year Atlantic 10 first team selection, '93 1st team All-South – All America selection, and was chosen the '93 A-10 "Player of the Year". Marcelo was also elected to A-10 25th year Anniversary Soccer Team.
